Initially, our idea was to circumnavigate the island, walking the ten kilometers around before catching the ferry again. But the beauty was so striking that we handed out pocket Windsor Newton watercolors, and post card sized watercolor paper, and sat at the edge of a grassy cliff, with wild sheep grazing the impossibly steep slope, learning to see.
Incredible! Spot any hobbits yet? From the pictures it looks like prime hobbit-hole real estate.
I would love to be a blade of grass on that island with the ocean to whisper me to sleep and the wind to play with all day.
♡ indeed!
